🌟WHAT DO WE COVER?🌟

Week 1

Time to 'set up' the program! We will start with fitness testing, medical information, lifestyle screening, personalised program development, and our first live coaching call.

Week 2

There are many 'parts' to a successful athletic program. During this week we discover what is required and how we are going to cover them in more detail throughout this program. 

Week 3

We establish our goals for the program and 2023! We start our personalised programs and learn more about cardiovascular training!

Week 4

This week we start to look at our current eating habits, what they should look like, and how to prepare our bodies after each race with stretching.

Week 5

We look into reaction training - the what and how. We cook some healthy recipes we can make to take to the track and we share ideas around recovery.

Week 6

Assessment week! Time to do our fitness testing & get a new program developed. We are going to discuss how to reduce jet lag, how to best overcome illness quickly, and where is your focus at the track?

Week 7 

To give you one-tenth, we are going to look into supplements, the role they play in performance. We also have a fun 5-day core challenge! 

Week 8 

We delve into overcoming fear & anxiety whilst racing, how the environment can play a part on race day, and what snacks are best!

Week 9

We venture into journalling, what is it, and why you need to be doing it. We also cover the best way to relax during races and how to prevent injuries.

Week 10

How well do you communicate? We'll go into different types of communication (with a quiz) and work out what style(s) suits you best. We are going to go through the pros and cons of different diets / healthy ways of eating and look at the mindset apps.

Week 11

Hydration can be the deciding factor if you are on the podium or not. So, this week, we will be doing a hydration challenge. We will also be looking at the best options when eating out (dinners) when racing away.

Week 12

It's the finals! Final time to do our fitness testing, the final time to go through our goal checklist, and the start of planning our 2023 program once racing starts!

Hi, I'm Belinda!

 

I was born and bred in motorsports thanks to my father who was a driver, kart importer, and dealer. My two brothers raced. I have never!

I started my career as a personal trainer in 1996. I love coaching beginner to amateur motorsports athletes & race teams.

MotiV8 Training is now an online education platform with regular workshops, masterclasses and courses helping you to develop your performances on and off the track. 

I am the host of the Motorsport Coaching podcast and have two free facebook grouups - Motorsport Fitness and Motorsport Sponsorship. 

I love being able to work online as it gives me the flexibility to work when convenient but more importantly allows me to be with my two sons more!
